The Prince George Regional Kerala Cultural Association (PGRKCA) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and secular organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving Malayali culture in Prince George, British Columbia. We are committed to providing cultural, recreational, and leisure activities that enhance the quality of life for our community members.
Our organization welcomes individuals with an appreciation for the culture of Kerala, India—whether they are originally from Kerala or have Malayali ancestry. We operate inclusively, without regard to sex, race, political affiliation, or religious beliefs.

Our Mission and Vision
- Engage with the Malayali Community: Address the interests of the Malayali community in Prince George and surrounding areas (including Vanderhoof, Quesnel, Mackenzie, and other municipalities in the Omineca region). Our focus includes heritage, cultural traditions, charitable activities, recreational events, artistic endeavors, social gatherings, and sporting events.
- Promote Community and Inter-community Relations: Foster friendships within the Malayali community and with other local communities. We aim to exchange ideas, enhance the quality of life, and build stronger connections.
- Bridge Local Communities: Work towards bridging gaps between local communities, facilitating better understanding and collaboration.
- Cultural Awareness and Integration: Collaborate with other communities and similar organizations to raise awareness about diverse cultures, promoting cultural integration and harmony.
- Celebrate Malayalam Language and Culture: Provide opportunities for community members to meet, discuss, and promote the Malayalam language and cultural traditions.
- Support and Charity: Offer assistance to members in need and organize fundraising activities for charitable causes.

PGRKCA proudly presenting ‘അക്ഷര കളരി', the Malayalam Language School for our kids. We encourage all parents to enrol your kids in Akshara Kalari, and be reminded that this will be one of the several learning activities that PGRKCA is planning for our kids.
